June Member Spotlight

Pamela Meness, co-founder of Camp Misabe and founder of Diamond Phoenix Creations, and a lifelong member of the Algonquin Community of Kitigan Zibi, has built her entrepreneurial journey on family, culture, and community care. What began as a way to provide for her family has grown into a mission rooted in empowerment, land-based learning, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

Through Camp Misabe, Pamela is helping bridge gaps between communities while sharing Algonquin culture, language, and teachings in a way that is lived, experienced, and grounded in relationship with the land.
