June Member Spotlight

Pamela Meness, co-founder of Camp Misabe and founder of Diamond Phoenix Creations, and a lifelong member of the Algonquin Community of Kitigan Zibi, has built her entrepreneurial journey on family, culture, and community care. What began as a way to provide for her family has grown into a mission rooted in empowerment, land-based learning, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

Through Camp Misabe, Pamela is helping bridge gaps between communities while sharing Algonquin culture, language, and teachings in a way that is lived, experienced, and grounded in relationship with the land. We’re proud to highlight Pamela’s journey of leading with truth, uplifting others, and creating opportunities that will positively impact generations to come. Read more.
