Ohpikiwin: Journey to Financial Empowerment Workshop
We are thrilled to announce a two-day weekend event featuring four enriching Ohpikiwin workshops. Each workshop is inspired by the teachings of the Medicine Wheel and focuses on reflection, balance, growth, and celebration within Indigenous economies and personal finance.
- Explore Indigenous value systems and traditional economies. Learn about personal finance basics, including an introduction to credit.
- Examine post-colonial Indigenous economies and reimagine credit through an Indigenous lens. Understand borrowing, interest rates, and managing debt.
- Focus on goal setting, budgeting, and saving for the future. Embrace the abundance of summer and prepare financially for the future.
- Consolidate your understanding of credit and money management. Celebrate Indigenous success stories and plan your entrepreneurial journey.
Join us for a weekend of learning, growth, and community, and gain valuable insights into personal finance and entrepreneurship!
